We've had a tradition for the past few years of attending the spring ballet for the local dance company. However, this year was just packed with other commitments and so Avery and I decided to attend the afternoon fundraiser's tea. The spring production is Cinderella and there was a brief dance program, which had the little ladies all spellbound. Surrounding the old house where the event took place were various Cinderella's themed craft stations: painting your own glass slipper (aka ballet shoes), pumpkin chalkboard decorating, tiara making and of course cupcakes. It was a nice afternoon with my special little lady, who seems to be growing up way to fast. Wonder if the Fairy Godmother has a spell to freeze time.
