The weather the past few days has been a little on the wet side, but we needed the rain desperately. It did not, however, spoil the fun at the Easter Egg Hunt we attended over the weekend. Avery's classmate invited her, Cole and a "few" other friends over to enjoy their youth conservation acerage about 20 miles from where we live.
The party was complete with BBQ, face painters, an Elvis look/sound-a-like, pony rides, a petting zoo, balloon animals, slushies, cotton candy and the Easter Bunny himself. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors, but the 30x30 foot dessert tent didn't hurt either.
