Halloween Preparation

Avery's Halloween costume came in the mail the other day and of course I had to try it on her. I thought Raggedy Ann would be too cute on her, and sure enough I was right. We've been working on the traditional saying of "Trick or Treat". She gets a kick out saying it as someone (Daddy) added a little extra to the prose we had been rehearsing --- now every time we practice she quickly tears off her socks to "smell her feet".

Avery's Birthday Celebration

WOW! Hard to believe Avery's 2nd Birthday has come and gone. We had a great time celebrating with Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Nikki. We spent time at the park, went swimming at the new pool, had pizza for dinner and enjoyed watching her face beam with delight over her "bouncy" ball!!

These past 24 months have been remarkable....Mike and I laugh at how much joy comes from simple pleasures anymore: blowing bubbles, riding a bike, tucking her into bed and seeing how she has memorized nearly every lyric to the Wiggles DVD and knows when you try to fast forward!! We are truly blessed with having her in our lives. As my Dad would say, "so glad you came to live with us".

















I'm ready for my close-up!! Avery enjoys her Disney Princess purse complete with lipstick, earrings and shades.
